Liquid Cooling
Liquid cooling is a thermal management approach for battery storage systems in which coolant circulates through cold plates or channels along the battery cells to carry away heat. Compared to air cooling, it's a more complex and expensive system, but delivers higher and more even cooling performance. At high power densities or in hot climates, liquid cooling is often the preferred solution. Thanks to their higher temperature tolerance, sodium-ion systems can often get by with air cooling.
